Kata Tjuta National Park is a protected area located in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is located approximately 365 

kilometers (227 miles) southwest of the city of Darwin and 32 kilometers (20 miles) west of Uluru (Ayers Rock).

 

The park 

is famous for its striking geological formations known as Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas. Kata Tjuta is a collection of 

large, domed rock formations that are sacred to the Anangu people, the traditional owners of the land. 

 

The highest peak in Kata Tjuta rises 546 meters (1,791 feet) above the surrounding landscape.The park is also home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, and a variety of bird species. 

 

Visitors to the park can explore the area on foot along a network of trails, including the Valley of the Winds walk, which offers spectacular views of the Kata Tjuta formations.Kata Tjuta National Park is an important cultural and spiritual site for the Anangu people, and visitors are encouraged to respect their traditions and beliefs. 

 

The park is also an important tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world who come to marvel at the stunning natural beauty of the area.
